What area do you think needs more attention or collaboration to strengthen Rochester’s environmental future?
There should be more focused attention and collaboration on Brownfield redevelopment and land use planning — stronger collaboration between city planners, developers, environmental consultants to streamline cleanup and repurposing.
What advice would you offer to individuals or organizations that want to start making a measurable environmental difference?
Make sustainability part of decision making, not an add-on. Build partnerships instead of going it alone — connect with local nonprofits, municipal programs, neighborhood groups, universities and youth groups.
What’s your favorite way to enjoy the natural beauty of the Rochester area?
Fall foliage drives and hikes in the Finger Lakes.
