McDougall Communications and the city of Rochester earned top honors in the 2026 PRism Awards from the Public Relations Society of America Rochester chapter.
McDougall was honored for Best of Show in the Corporate division for the Lumenis campaign, “Closing the Gap: The Launch of OptiLIFT.”
The city of Rochester earned Best of Show in the Nonprofit division for “Rochester Fire Department Turns Up the Heat on Recruitment.”
The PRism Awards recognize the top communications programs and projects from the previous year.
McDougall has earned best of show in either the Corporate or Nonprofit category for nine consecutive years, and swept both divisions in 2024 and 2025.
Individual honors included:
• Rising Star Award to Lizzy Beach, URochester Medicine.
• Educator of the Year: Frank Marra, Rochester Institute of Technology.
• Executive of the Year; Chris Humphrey, Community Bank, N.A.
