Lindsay Connelly, president of Linden Digital Marketing, has been named to the Inc. 2026 Female Founders 500 list.
The annual list honors the country’s most dynamic women business leaders, recognizing founders whose ideas, resilience and execution help shape the future of their industries.
“Being named to this list means the world to me, but what I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built right here in Rochester, and the clients and community that believed in us from the beginning,” Connelly said in a news release.
The Inc. Female Founders 500 is compiled by the publication’s editors through a multi-round selection process using quantitative performance metrics (revenue growth, funding, sales, audience size) as well as qualitative factors (innovation, social impact, brand momentum).
Since Connelly launched the agency in 2018, Linden Digital Marketing has grown from a one-woman operation to an 18-person, MWBE-certified firm with 400 percent revenue growth over four years.
Her impact extends beyond the office, however. She’s an adjunct professor at RIT’s Saunders College of Business and serves on multiple nonprofit boards, including Shift2, Journeys of Solutions Inc., St. Ann’s Foundation, Causewave Community Partners and Alfred State College Marketing Program Advisory Board.
Connelly was named 2025 Business Person of the Year by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and the 2026 ATHENA Young Professional Award winner.
“Each year we are increasingly amazed by the extraordinary leaders on our Inc. Female Founders 500 list,” Inc. editorial director Bonny Ghosh said. “The honorees on this year’s list include innovators in AI, beauty and wellness trendsetters winning devoted fans, and nonprofit leaders making a real impact in their communities.
“Together they’re showing all of us what trailblazing female leadership looks like.”
Connelly is the only Rochester-area entrepreneur on the list.
