Rochester’s top business schools are earning national attention in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings.
The University of Rochester‘s Simon Business School ranked 34 with nearly 200 full-time students. The school reported full-time MBA tuition of $57,500 annually. Simon reported that 58.40 percent of its full-time MBA graduates are employed at the time of graduation and 87.4% are employed three months after graduation.
Rochester Institute of Technology’s Saunders College of Business ranked 93 with nearly 130 full-time students. Its executive MBA program totals $61,762 annually. Saunders reported a 47.10% employment rate for full-time MBA graduates at graduation and a 73% employment rate three months after graduation.
The U.S. News & World Report methodology focuses specifically on full-time, campus-based MBA programs, emphasizing outcomes for early-career professionals who may step away from the workforce to pursue graduate education.
Half of the ranking formula is based on employment rates and salary outcomes for graduates. The remaining half evaluates academic quality, including incoming student metrics and assessments from peer institutions, corporate recruiters and industry contacts.
