Friendly Senior Living completes purchase of Maplewood care facility

Friendly Senior Living, through Maplewood Senior Care, Inc., paid $17.5 million to Ten Cate, LLC, for the 74-bed facility at 100 Daniel Dr. The deed was filed with the Monroe County Clerk’s Office on Wednesday.
Plans for the sale were announced in June of 2025 but could not be finalized until the transfer was approved by the New York State Department of Health.
The Maplewood had been family owned, with its roots dating back to 1947. Gregory Chambery is the managing member of Ten Cate, LLC.
In November, the Maplewood earned top ranking in the long-term and short-term rehabilitation category for small facilities in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Nursing Home ratings.
Friendly Senior Living also operates Cloverwood, Glenmere and Lily Brook in Pittsford, and Linden Knoll, The Friendly Home and Lovey at Friendly Home in Brighton.
