Holdings Inc. recently announced a series of product delivery milestones representing nearly a year of development work, highlighting the company’s growing role in advanced  and technologies.

The Rochester-based firm said it has successfully manufactured and delivered next-generation products requiring nanoscale precision and high-complexity engineering for applications across defense,  and AI-driven infrastructure.

The company’s recent achievements include ultra-precision mirrors for multi-spectral imaging systems used in drones, aircraft and armored vehicles, along with advanced satellite optics supporting consumer applications, space-based tracking and solar energy beaming technologies. Syntec also produced nano-surfaced gates for the Artemis rocket launcher program.

“Our participation in these deep-tech frontiers, ranging from multi-spectral imaging for defense to optics enabling space-solar energy and fusion power for hyperscale AI data centers, represents the next massive wave of global modernization,” said Dean Rudy, chief financial officer of Syntec Optics.

Rudy noted the company’s newer, lower-volume advanced production programs complement its existing high-volume operations, which include AI AR/VR display cameras, low-Earth orbit satellite laser optics and data center micro-connectors.

Matt Carey, vice president of business development and delivery, said Syntec’s long-term strategy focuses on simultaneously scaling current technologies while investing in next-generation innovation.

“The LEO satellite optics and AI AR/VR systems driving our growth today were our ‘next frontier’ five years ago,” Carey said. “Today’s deep-tech deliverables tend to secure our leadership for the next decade.”

Formed more than 20 years ago through the combination of three companies founded in the 1980s, Syntec has grown into one of the nation’s largest custom optics and photonics manufacturers serving multiple industries.
