Rochester skilled nursing facility sells for $9.3M

A Brooklyn-based provider of and rehabilitation services has completed the purchase of a Rochester care facility.

, through , paid $9.3 million for at 1335 Portland Ave.

The 120-bed facility provides short-term care, long-term care and rehab services. The sale also included parcels at 119 Branch St. and 100 Cynthia Lane.

New ROC Realty LLC, a Long Island entity managed by Ephram Lahasky, was the seller.

Eminent Care Group owns and operates six other nursing facilities, three in New York, two in Pennsylvania and one in Ohio.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the federal agency that evaluates nursing homes across the country, shows a one-star rating (the lowest on a scale of one to five) for The Pearl.

The New York State Department of Health website also shows an overall one-star rating, though quality of care received three stars.
