Six businesses have been named finalists for the 2019 Greece Small Business of the Year awards.
The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce and Genesee Regional Bank, which sponsors the awards, announced the finalists this week. The 2019 winners will be announced at a luncheon Nov. 7.

“Small businesses are so crucial to the health of our regional economy,” said Sarah Lentini, president and CEO of the Greece Chamber of Commerce. “The Greece Regional Chamber believes strongly in supporting and recognizing outstanding performance in this sector. We received 87 nominations this year, making it our most competitive year in recent memory. We want to congratulate all of our nominees on their outstanding business achievements.”
The award event will be held at the Rochester Airport Marriott Hotel, 1890 W. Ridge Road, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 7. Matthew Hurlbutt, president and CEO of Greater Rochester Enterprise, will be the keynote speaker. Tickets for the event are available by calling the Greece Chamber at (585) 337-7272 or online.
