June 1 — The F.F. Thompson Foundation netted approximately $50,000 with its annual Thompson Health Golf Classic.
Held at the Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Victor on June 1, the event drew 122 golfers.
Proceeds will benefit priority capital initiatives to strengthen Thompson’s health system, expanding access to care and advancing diagnostic excellence. These include the upcoming Birthing Center expansion, a 12-apartment memory care addition at Clark Meadows, a planned primary care/urgent care location in Honeoye Falls, and state-of-the-art upgrades to imaging capabilities, with new MRI machines and a new fluoroscopy unit.
Heather Rickett, director of the F.F. Thompson Foundation, said it was great to see so many new faces helping Thompson prepare for the future. She added that the Foundation is grateful to tournament chairs Coleen Emblidge, Greg Felosky, and David DeRaddo as well as Presenting Sponsor KeyBank and all other sponsors and participants.
