What changes in the legal industry do you believe will have the biggest impact on clients over the next few years?
There is no question that the largest change in the legal profession today is the advent of the use of artificial intelligence. It is rewriting the methodology in virtually every area of practice. Care and caution are the buzzwords when proceeding forward.
How do you balance legal expertise with client service and relationship-building?
There is a natural symbiosis in client relationship building and application of the necessary legal expertise. Serving your client’s needs and wishes is simply a combination of the required understanding of the legal principles in play and a healthy dose of human compassion.
How important is community involvement or pro bono work within your organization?
Community involvement has always been a part of my professional and personal life. The mantle of pomposity is always a risk to attorneys! The best way to avoid it is to regularly give back and find a cause or two to serve the less fortunate in this world. There is nothing more rewarding.
