What is one challenge currently facing the legal profession that deserves more attention?
The role of AI in the legal profession requires more attention. The use of AI can be incredibly helpful in evaluating the client’s injuries, the care received and the beginning phase of research. However, busy professionals/lawyers cannot rely on this information without performing their own in-depth analysis. It must be understood that the AI-generated information is only a start. The professionals/attorneys must put their name on the work product in the end. The attorneys must always remember that they have worked so hard to establish a positive reputation for themselves and a one-time moment feeling of “I am too busy, it will be OK” can be disastrous to the client and their reputation.
How do you balance legal expertise with client service and relationship-building?
Legal expertise and client service/relationship go hand in hand. Relationships and service are built on trust and meeting the client’s legal needs. By being responsive to the client in a timely manner and providing excellent quality work, solid relationships will be formed and will continue.
What is one accomplishment — professional or personal — that you are especially proud of?
I am proud that our team of attorneys and professionals continue to put the clients first and perform excellent work. They understand that this is not something we just talk about but do. They continue to follow the tone set by our founding partner, Angelo Faraci.
