CEO & Managing Partner, The Bonadio Group
Years in current role: 7
What decision or strategic shift in 2025 had the greatest impact on your business?
We have intentionally decided to continue pursuing proactive, values-aligned growth through strategic partnerships and superior client service. The recent addition of DALLE Accounting to our firm reflects our longstanding approach to strengthening advisory capabilities and expanding our footprint while maintaining our culture, independence and service quality. It also reinforced our focus on growth that benefits both our clients and our employees. Bringing in the DALLE team expanded our existing Outsource Accounting & Finance practice, which has seen incredible growth over the last few years.
What developments in your industry are you watching most closely as you look ahead to the coming year?
We’re paying special attention to the ways consolidation and new business models continue to reshape the accounting profession. As trends driven by private equity grow, firms will need to aggressively pursue growth and differentiate themselves through evolutions in specialization, advisory depth and company culture. Reimagining the client experience and ensuring top-tier service is integral to strong positioning when navigating disruption and maintaining trust.
How do you prioritize long-term innovation while ensuring operational excellence day to day?
At The Bonadio Group, we prioritize innovation by tying it directly to our firmwide strategic plan and the needs of our clients. Over the past year, we’ve been hyper focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and global resources in ways that make sense for our firm. These efforts have increased our efficiency, allowing us to focus on the quality of our work and our client service in more intentional ways. Being clear about why we invest and how it supports our business strategy ensures it strengthens day-to-day operations along the way.
