F.W. Webb Co. has transformed the former Monro Inc., headquarters along Holleder Parkway and Mt. Read Boulevard into a new one-stop comprehensive facility for trade professionals.

The 170,000-square-foot building combines F.W. Webb’s two Rochester locations — the wholesale operations that were on Hague Street and the Water Works operations that were on Beahan Road — under one very large roof.

The Bedford, Massachusetts-based company is a wholesale distributor of heating, cooling, plumbing and industrial supplies.

“This new facility strengthens our presence in a rapidly expanding market and delivers valuable new solutions to our customers,” Bob Mucciarone, chief operating officer of F.W. Webb, said in a news release. “By unifying operations and adding a self-serve concept, this new location advances our mission to give customers what they need, when and where they need it.”

F.W. Webb, through Ram Construction LLC, purchased the building at 200 Holleder Parkway from Monro in July of 2024 for $9.6 million. Monro relocated to a more appropriate-sized space in Woodcliff Office Park in Perinton last year.

The new facility is more than four times larger than F.W. Webb’s former Hague Street property.

Along with far more inventory, the facility offers tools, systems, components, replacement parts and cleaning supplies. The adjoining pipe barn houses a variety of piping, including stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized, high-density, polyethylene, black steel and cooper.

There’s also in-person support at the service counter and dedicated will-call service.

The Water Works division provides solutions for professionals working on projects such as water utilities, wastewater management, electrical conduits and geothermal systems.
