Pending ownership change announced for Webster nursing home

The sale of Maplewood to Friendly Senior Living must be approved by the New York State Department of Health and could take more than a year to finalize.
Once approval is received, Maplewood’s current owner, Greg Chambery, will remain with Maplewood for two additional years to ensure a smooth transition, company leaders said.
Chambery said Senior Friendly Living would preserve Maplewood’s approach to senior care.
“Friendly Senior Living’s proven commitment to the well-being of older adults will extend to the residents, families and staff of Maplewood,” he said.
Added Glen Cooper, Friendly Senior Living president and CEO, “Our two organizations share similar missions and values and are both guided first and foremost by a deep dedication to providing seniors in our community with high-quality, person-centered care.”
