Finger Lakes Community College will host a workshop with practical tips for using artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the workplace from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11 at the main campus in Canandaigua.
The event is open to a range of professionals, including business owners, marketers, educators and community leaders. It is free and includes a complementary lunch.

The workshop is titled “Empowering Professionals for the AI-Enhanced Workplace” and begins with keynote speaker Aaron Proietti, author of the book “Today’s Innovator” and founder of a consulting firm by the same name.
Participants will have a choice of two breakout sessions based on their level of expertise in using AI and their interests. Breakout sessions will be led by FLCC faculty and administrators.
Topics for the first breakout session are Prompt Writing 101, Using Notebook LM to Digest Large Documents, Creating a Marketing Campaign with ChatGPT and using AI Tools to Gain Data Insights.
Topics for the second breakout session are Prompt Writing 2.0, Using AI in the Hiring Process, Leveraging AI in Search Engine Optimization, and Using AI Personas as a Simulated Focus Group.
The workshop ends with an optional bonus session with Proietti from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Those who plan to stay can vote on the topic they would like him to address.
