Real estate investor buys 17-property package from Buckingham

Kasandrinos Properties, LLC paid $3.6 million for a package of 17 properties along Alexander Street, Averill Avenue and Gardiner Park.
The portfolio includes several Victorian-style homes that were converted decades ago to multifamily. Some buildings have retail space on the lower floor and apartments on the upper floors.
Included is a large swath of 10 properties along Alexander Street — 215, 217, 219, 221, 225, 229, 231, 256, 258 and 275 — as well as four on Averill Avenue (633-639, 687, 693 and 701) and three on Gardiner Park (55-59, 63 and 67). The documents were filed Wednesday with the Monroe County Clerk’s Office.
This is the second multifamily acquisition in the city of Rochester by Kasandrinos Properties through the Team K LLC name. The entity paid just shy of $1.85 million for Thistle Apartments at 1224 Lake Ave. in September.
