Buckingham adds two Monroe Ave. plazas to property portfolio

Buckingham adds two Monroe Ave. plazas to property portfolio
Buckingham Properties has acquired Clover Commons and Clover View Plaza, expanding its presence within the retail sector along the Monroe Avenue corridor.
Clover Commons, located at 2900 Monroe Ave., and the adjacent Clover View Plaza, at 2920 Monroe Ave., provide a combined 30,000 square feet of retail space at the Brighton border with Pittsford.
The property transfers were completed earlier this month. Buckingham Properties, through 2900 Clover Commons I LLC and 2900 Clover Commons II LLC, paid $4,691,600 for Clover Commons.
The firm acquired Clover View Plaza for $2,708,400 through 2920-2930 Clover View I LLC and 2920-2930 Clover View II LLC.
Family owned entities managed by William Clifford of Southlake, Texas, sold the properties, according to documents filed Friday with the Monroe County Clerk’s Office.
There currently are 11 tenants in the plazas, including Lululemon, Basha Mediterranean Eatery & Cafe and A Different Point of View.
Buckingham also owns nearby Monroe Clover Plaza at 2929 Monroe Ave., Oak Hill Commons at 3030-3050 Monroe Ave. and Springhouse Commons 3019-3025 Monroe Ave.
“These acquisitions reflect the continued momentum of our retail portfolio,” Buckingham CEO Ken Glazer said in a news release. “Expanding our presence along Monroe Avenue allows us to grow thoughtfully, support our tenants and remain well positioned to support the evolving needs of the region.”
