Excellus has named Stephen Cohen as their senior vice president and corporate medical director.

Cohen has previously served as medical director at Excellus, president of Lifetime Care Home Healthcare and Hospice and Lifetime Health Medical Group and, from 2006-2012, as vice president for medical affairs at MVP Health Care. He is a member of the Monroe County Medical Society and American Association for Physician Leadership.

Cohen is a lifelong Rochesterian who, following his graduation for Albany Medical College, completed his residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
