Listen to this articleOne of the largest human resources outsourcing companies in the state is opening a location in Rochester.
Alcott HR Group LLC, which is listed by Crain’s New York Business as one of the largest privately held companies in the New York City area, plans to open an office in Rochester in January.
Company officials said the move allows Alcott HR to reach a larger portion of the state.
“The Rochester office will enable us to serve businesses seeking high-quality HR services throughout the area, from Rochester to Albany and the surrounding cities,” said John Bradley, Alcott HR’s vice president for Western New York. “Since New York State is our home base, it is important to us that we bring our comprehensive HR solution to as many of our fellow New York businesses as possible. Our new office in Rochester will help us achieve that goal.”
The company has named James Toner, of Fairport, as director of sales for the Rochester office. He is to begin on Jan. 1.
