Tompkins Financial Advisors names advisor to expand in WNY

Evan Carr has been named managing director of Tompkins Financial Advisors‘ Western New York market.

In the role, Carr leads the firm’s wealth management business across the region, with responsibility for driving growth, strengthening client relationships and developing a high-performing advisory team.

“Evan brings to our team strong business development experience with a genuine commitment to helping clients,” said Eric Taylor, TFA president. “He’s well-positioned to lead our Western New York team and continue strengthening the personalized service our clients expect.”

Carr joins TFA from Armbruster Capital Management. Before that, he served as a senior relationship manager at O’Keefe Stevens Advisory, Inc.

A graduate of Nazareth University, Carr sits on the Board of Governors at Irondequoit Country Club in Pittsford and is a George Eastman Circle member for the University of Rochester. He resides in Rochester.
