Rochester Midland continues growth strategy with latest acquisition

Corp. has acquired ClarityChem, strengthening its water and process treatment capabilities and marking the Rochester company’s seventh acquisition in the past two years as it continues with an aggressive growth strategy. 

The Depew, -based firm is a provider of custom integrated commercial, institutional, and industrial water and process treatment solutions.

“This acquisition accentuates our shared commitment to customer-first values and our ability to deliver cutting-edge water treatment solutions across our growing geographies,” said Jim White, Rochester Midland CEO, adding the company would continue to seek partnership opportunities with companies that enhance its platform.  

Rochester Midland is a provider of route-based technical services and specialty chemical products serving industries that include water treatment and food safety.   

The business employs roughly 540 people, including some 100 workers at its 20,000-square-foot facility on Paragon Drive in Rochester. The local site serves as the company’s headquarters and houses its largest facility along with a technology center.  

The company also operates locations across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
