Rochester-based Brothers International Food Holdings, LLC is continuing its expansion in the global food ingredients market with the acquisition of Food Partners, a fruit ingredient supplier specializing in citrus sourcing and end-to-end logistics coordination.

Together, the moves position the business as a comprehensive global sourcing platform serving food and beverage manufacturers across North America and Europe, company leaders said.
Brothers said the acquisition strengthens its ability to provide reliable, scalable fruit-ingredient solutions amid growing demand and supply chain complexity.
Founder and CEO Travis Betters will continue to lead the combined business as Brothers enters its next phase of growth. Food Partners Founder and CEO Webb Tanner will remain in his current role and retain a minority ownership stake.
Both companies will continue to operate under their existing brands, with Brothers based in Rochester, and Food Partners maintaining operations in Winter Haven, Florida. Food Partners will gain access to Brothers’ shared services platform, which the company said will enhance efficiency, reliability and overall operating capabilities.
“We are thrilled to join Brothers at such a dynamic moment of growth,” Tanner said in a statement. “Our teams share a commitment to quality, integrity and collaboration. Together we can unlock greater growth opportunities for our suppliers and greater value for our customers.”
Betters said the acquisition represents a strategic fit both operationally and culturally.
“Food Partners is the perfect complement to Brothers in both capability and culture,” he said. “Their expertise in citrus deepens our sourcing power, amplifies our reach and strengthens our position as a leading global ingredients partner.”
