Pittsford, Webster and Penfield are the top three preferred destinations for homeowners looking to move within Greater Rochester, according to a new homeowner survey conducted by ESL Federal Credit Union.
The survey, administered in the second quarter of this year across the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region, aimed to capture homeowner sentiment and shed light on local housing trends.
Nearly 300 respondents from 31 towns across Monroe, Ontario, Livingston and Seneca counties participated, answering nearly two dozen questions about the current housing market.
“With such significant changes transpiring in the housing market over the last several years, we think it’s important to learn directly from local homeowners,” said Jim Miller, vice president and director of mortgage lending at ESL Federal Credit Union. “This report provides valuable benefits to our local realtors, homeowners and broader community in their continued navigation of the housing market.”
