2025 Forty Under 40 honorees announced

RBJ Forty Under 40 The Rochester Business Journal has selected the 2025 class of Forty Under 40 honorees.

Forty Under 40 recognizes Rochester’s leaders who are 39 years of age or younger for their professional accomplishments, community service and commitment to inspiring change. These individuals are not only achieving success in their careers but giving back in meaningful ways to the Rochester community. More than 1,200 outstanding young professionals have received this award since its founding in 1994.

A panel of judges consisting of prior year honorees from different professions selected this year’s Forty Under 40 recipients.

“The 2025 Forty Under 40 honorees are high-achieving young professionals who give back to the community in exceptional ways. They have demonstrated significant career success but also know that making a difference in the lives of others is essential,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. “They are the next generation of leaders in Rochester, and we are pleased to recognize their accomplishments.”

This year’s Forty Under 40 will be honored Nov. 18 at an awards celebration at The Strong National Museum of Play, One Manhattan Square in Rochester. The celebration will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with registration and a networking reception. The awards program begins at 6:15 p.m. in the theater followed by dinner and a celebration throughout the museum. The event hashtag is #RBJevents.

Attendance is limited, with sponsors receiving priority access.

There are various sponsorship levels available, which include the right to use the event logo, multimedia marketing, a table to share with co-workers and guests at the event, and much more. If seats are available after the sponsorship deadline, a limited number of individual tickets will go on sale. Tables are only available with sponsorship. Honorees will be profiled in a magazine that will be inserted into the Nov. 21 issue of the Rochester Business Journal and will be available online.
