JN White is a premier ISO and ITAR certified manufacturer of best-in-class Membrane Switches, Membrane Switch Assemblies, Complex User Interfaces, Graphic Overlays, and Printed Flexible Heaters.
Founded in 1960 by James Neel White, what was known then as J.N. White Designs began in a spare bedroom of his home. After serving as a United States Air Force pilot in World War II, J.N. returned to his hometown of Perry and founded his business doing what was naturally fulfilling to him — designing and screen printing labels.
Randy White, J.N. White’s son, is now owner and CEO. Susan White (Randy’s wife) is Vice President of Administration, Teagan White (Randy’s daughter) is Director of Onboarding & Community Engagement, Bryan White (Randy’s son) is Sales Executive, and David Williams (Randy’s son-in-law) is Director of Quality.
J.N. White now employs 120 people and plans to continue to grow, creating best-in-class electronic assemblies and user interface components, while supporting the community at-large and the company’s community and culture.
JN White has continually adapted to technological and manufacturing trends through the years. “We’ve acquired four companies in this pursuit and will continue to pursue acquisitions and growth. We pride ourselves on our nimbleness which, as example, enabled us to flourish during COVID by pivoting some of our manufacturing capabilities to creating innovative PPE equipment and being named an ‘essential business’ by New York State.”
