Lake Ave. apartments in Rochester sell for $1.06M

Lake Ave. apartments in Rochester sell for $1.06M

A multifamily property in Rochester’s Maplewood District has been sold to a Manhattan real estate investor.

Divvy Marketer LLC paid $1.06 million for the 12-unit apartment building at 1118-1120 Lake Ave. Mosharof Shamim is listed in documents filed with the Monroe County Clerk’s Office as a member of Divvy Marketer.

The property, built in 1973, was sold by Rochester Clad LLC. Antonio Cilino is the manager of Rochester Clad, which bought the property for $340,000 in November of 2013.

The 17,000-square-foot property at 1118-1120 Lake Ave. is the third apartment building within a five-block stretch of Lake Avenue the to change hands in the past six months.

Thistle Apartments, with 32 units at the corner of Lake Avenue and Seneca Parkway, sold for $1.847 million in September and the 13-unit multifamily property at 2-22 Clay Ave. sold for $732,000 in July.
