The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a new awards program to recognize the fastest-growing firms that are a certified Minority- and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE).

There will be rankings in two categories, minority owned and women owned. Winners will be celebrated on May 2.
“Diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and yet minority- and women-owned businesses have not always been given the recognition they are due,” Chamber president and CEO Bob Duffy said in a news release. “We are proud to celebrate the fastest-growing MWBE organizations that are shaping Greater Rochester into the vibrant region it is today, and to break down the barriers that have historically been in place for MWBEs to create new opportunities and fuel their growth.”
