Greece Chamber announces Youth Hall of Fame inductees

The Greece Chamber of Commerce with presenting sponsor Buckman’s Plaza has selected the 2020 inductees into the organization’s Youth Hall of Fame.

The 12-member class includes 10 high school seniors and two high school juniors. The students have demonstrated exceptional leadership and personal development along with contributions to others and the community.

The inductees: Joseph Alphonse (senior, Greece Olympia), Caleb Costain (junior, Olympia), Kendall Givens (senior, Arcadia), Giona Grana (senior, Odyssey), Teagan Holmes (junior, Our Lady of Mercy), Makyle Murdock (senior, Olympia), Brianna Myles (senior, Olympia), Solange Ndatabaye (senior, Athena), May Ree (senior, Athena), Daniel Santos Jr. (senior, Olympia), Babucarr Taal (senior, Athena), Thomas Zacks (senior, Athena).

Inductees and nominees have shown leadership and community spirit “through exceptional personal, volunteer, scholastic and workforce achievement,” according the chamber. Nominations are made by school teachers, counselors, administrators, as well as area businesses, community youth agencies, service organizations and residents.

The Youth Hall of Fame, now in its 30th year, will be featured as a year-long display at the Greece Regional Chamber’s kiosk at The Mall at Greece Ridge to honor current and past inductees.
