Changes coming at The Bistro at Towpath Cafe

The Bistro at Towpath Cafe in Fairport is closing the coffee shop portion of its restaurant, officials announced Monday. The cafe, which opened in 2009, is to reopen under new management.

The cafe is at 6 N. Main St. Two years after it opened owners Neil Clark and Tracy Paladino opened the full-service restaurant and canal-side deck, something they hope to focus on going forward.

“We’ve had an amazing experience growing our business in the village of Fairport,” Clark said. “We enjoy bringing delicious meals and great music to our guests.”

The interior of the restaurant will be renovated in the coming months.

“We want to thank our customers for their continued support and we can’t wait for them to see the ‘new’ Towpath in the spring,” Clark said.
