PROJECT FACTS

  • At peak construction time, upwards of 175 people were working on the project.
  • More than 250,000 man-hours had been put in at project completion.
  • To meet the project schedule, crews worked six days per week, 10 hours per day for the last three months of the project.
  • Occupancy is currently 340-plus employees, with capacity for 500 employees.
  • The project is the first to qualify for the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency’s Green JobsPlus program.
  • Approximately 250 construction jobs were created over duration of the project.
  • ESL has committed to increase employment at the site by 10 percent within three years.
  • Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification is pending.
  • More than 50 local suppliers/subcontractors were used for the site work, foundation, concrete, steel, plumbing, HVAC and electrical portions of work.
  • The gently curved faade facing Chestnut Street was constructed out of 18,500 feet of granite panels.
  • More than 6,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete was used in the parking garage alone.
  • If all of the project’s 200,000 bricks were lined up, they would stretch more than 24 miles.
  • More than 1,000 tons of structural steel was used on the entire project.
  • The final project value equals $58 million.
