Doyle Security Systems Inc. has become the first company in the state to implement a program that allows over 10,000 alarm users in Monroe County to receive faster and more accurate emergency responses, the company said.

The Henrietta-based company has teamed up with the Monroe County Emergency Communications Department to integrate the automated secure alarm protocol to public safety answering point alarm response program.

The Doyle Security monitoring center is able to transmit alarm signals to the Monroe County 911 center through the technology, allowing first responders to receive the message electronically instead of by phone, the company said. The system eliminates human error or miscommunication and alerts responders in seconds.

“One of the biggest benefits to the community and to our company is real information updates during an event,” said Ernie Cole, director of operations for Doyle Security Systems’ emergency response center.
