ALPCO Recycling, Inc. has been a staple in the community since 1989 under the ownership, vision and direction of, Al Plumb. Throughout his 50+ years in the industry Plumb has left his mark as being one of the pioneers; the one who accepts the challenge. Al has poured his heart into this business, the community and his employees. As every great businessman era ends, one must turn over the reins. This was successfully executed September 30, 2025. Al Plumb has sold the business, [keeping it in the family] to his daughter, Chelsea DePoint & grandson, Tyler Hickman, who will take this company to its next phases of the vision.
DePoint and Hickman have been operating the company for the better part of 4 years, under the supervision of Al. ALPCO Recycling was the first job that both of them had at age 14; they both worked their way up through the company, learned what it takes to keep a business running smoothly, the importance of employees and the community. The core values and commitments to quality of service, relationships with customers, employees and environment will continue to flourish under their ownership.
