What does it mean to you to be a women-owned business?

As a woman-owned business, I’ve always believed work should support life, not compete with it. Long before work-life balance was popular, I built Wahl Media to allow our team to do their best work while feeling fulfilled, fostering growth, creativity, and flexibility. That’s what I felt was missing in the corporate world. By bringing on talented, dependable team members, we achieve exceptional results while offering the freedom to work on their own schedules and in ways that suit their lives.

What challenges have you faced as a women-owned business?

While women-owned businesses can face unique challenges, we’ve been fortunate not to experience the discrimination others may face. I’ve never seen my gender as a limitation. I focus on opportunity, building a talented, trustworthy team, and fostering a culture where people can grow, thrive, and do their best work. This is the same mindset I’ve shared with my three daughters — approaching life and their careers with confidence and resilience, seeing challenges as opportunities to excel.

How do you support women in your business and community?

At Wahl Media, empowering women is part of who we are. As a certified woman-owned business, we create clear paths for women to grow through mentorship, training, and opportunity. The majority of our leadership team is female, including Managing Partner Amanda Galley, and we mentor future professionals through internships and community outreach. We also champion women-led and diverse partners, extending our impact beyond our walls — because supporting women is our foundation and our future.

What goals do you have for your business for the coming year?

Our goal is growth with purpose — building on our experience using AI and emerging media to drive smarter, more innovative campaigns. We’re elevating social media management into a standalone department, refining and enhancing client dashboards to showcase ROI, and expanding digital and analytics teams to deliver performance-driven media that creates measurable results, lasting value, and elevates every client’s success.

What recent accomplishments are you most proud of?

We’re proud of our continued growth while staying true to our values of integrity, accountability and accuracy. This year, we expanded our client roster across key sectors, winning statewide campaigns through measurable performance. We’re also proud of campaigns that make a difference — recruiting health care workers, promoting public health, and growing local trust — while strengthening our team, analytics, and social media services. It’s this strong momentum that fuels our passion and growth.
