2025 Elevating Women honorees announced
Listen to this articleThe Rochester Business Journal announced that 23 organizations have been selected as 2025 Elevating Women honorees.
The Elevating Women Awards honor companies and organizations that have demonstrated tangible efforts and documented results in supporting and empowering women in New York. Honorees were judged on documented hiring and promoting of women; leadership positions held by women; advocacy for the cause of women internally and externally; and efforts to cultivate the next generation of women professionals. The winners were selected by the Rochester Business Journal leadership team.

“The 2025 Elevating Women winners invest in, elevate and support women leaders in Rochester and beyond. They demonstrate tangible, innovative efforts to assist women in taking on new opportunities in business and in the community,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. “We are pleased to honor these organizations that show a strong commitment to women leaders in New York.”
The Elevating Women winners will be honored at a breakfast celebration on Sept. 30 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 East Main St. in Rochester. Registration, networking and a breakfast buffet begin at 9 a.m., with the awards celebration at 10 a.m. The event hashtag is #RBJevents.
Attendance is limited. Honorees and sponsors get the first chance to secure tables. Sponsorship includes a table for guests, multimedia marketing, logo usage and more. Winners will be profiled in a special section that will be inserted into the Oct. 3 issue of the Rochester Business Journal and will be available online.
