Angelica Perez-Delgado, president and CEO of the Ibero-American Action League, was recently honored as a 2024 Woman of Distinction as part of a program of the New York State Senate.

Each of the 63 state senators nominate one woman in their district annually to receive the honor who has enhanced the well-being and vitality of their community, with a commitment to excellence.

Perez-Delgado has been the president and CEO of the Ibero-American Action League since 2018 and has over 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector, beginning her career as a substance abuse therapist before transitioning into administration more than a decade ago.

She was nominated by state Sen. Samra Brouk, who spoke of Perez-Delgado’s drive, dedication and leadership in the community.

“Angie’s trailblazing path has been defined by her dedication to empowering others and creating positive, lasting change,” Brouk said.
