President and CEO
Trillium Health

Years in current role: 1

What accomplishments from the past year are you most proud of?

Last year, Trillium Health served approximately 13,000 patients at 40,000 clinical visits, representing a 71% increase in the patient census over the past five years. I’m extremely proud of our dedicated, hardworking team, which serves low-income families and underserved communities across a nine-county service area in Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Trillium Health is proud to provide judgement-free, affordable care to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.

What is one change you would make to the health care industry if you could?

I would love to see more healthcare providers choose to work at Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alikes such as Trillium Health. We’re a mission-based organization with a passion for serving low-income and historically marginalized communities with limited access to healthcare. Our goal is to reduce health disparities and to promote health equity, and the work is rewarding. We also participate in loan repayment programs, like the National Health Service Corps, which can help healthcare professionals to reduce student debt while working in a job that aligns with their values.

What are your favorite activities in the Rochester area?

My husband and I enjoy hiking, biking, yoga, gardening, and staying active.
