The purchase price was not disclosed.

3G was established in 2016 by Vince Stango following the merger of Acker-Pak and CIPS, two companies in the industrial distribution industry. It serves customers throughout upstate New York from its three locations in Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse.

Imperial Dade executives said 3G is a good strategic fit for the firm and will further expand its presence in New York.

“I welcome the entire 3G family and am excited for the great opportunities to come,” said Robert Tillis, Imperial Dade chairperson.

Founded in 1935, Imperial Dade serves more than 120,000 customers across North America.
