Peter J. Glennon, Esq.:
Peter J. Glennon, author of “Am I Stuck in This Practice? Glennon’s extensive litigation experience includes contract disputes, partnership, LLC, & shareholder disputes and dissolutions, intellectual property issues, employment law cases, higher education and healthcare employment law, discrimination, non-compete and restrictive covenant matters, high asset and “gray” matrimonial matters, and aviation law matters, in both state and federal courts and administrative venues. Prior to starting the Glennon litigation firm, Glennon served as a law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth W. Pine, Associate Justice of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, where he had also been a pool clerk. He previously was an extern law clerk to the Honorable David R. Homer, Federal Magistrate, Northern District of New York. And he began his private practice as a litigator with Nixon Peabody LLP.
Glennon retired from the military after 24 years of service, including stints as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate (JAG) for the 107th Airlift Wing, Niagara Falls, New York and as the 107th Logistics Readiness Squadron Commander. In 2018, he was inducted into the New York State Veterans’ Hall of Fame for his military and community service.
In the community, Glennon is the co-founder and chairman of the Honor Flight Rochester, Inc. board of directors, he served as Rochester Rotary Club president for 2020-2021, and he is a member of the Rochester Rotary Charitable Trusts Inc. board of directors. Glennon also serves on the board of the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center. He previously served on the Monroe County Bar Association’s board of trustees and on the New York State Bar Association’s Special Committee on Veteran’s Affairs. He is a long-time member of the Monroe County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and a New York State Bar Foundation Fellow, and he is a member of the Pittsford American Legion Post #899.
