Batavia manufacturer names new CEO
Chapin Manufacturing, Inc. has named Timothy Onello as its CEO, succeeding Jim Campbell who retired.
Onello will lead the Batavia, Genesee County-based firm in driving growth across key product categories including sprayers, spreaders, irrigation and Heath Outdoor Products.
“Celebrating its 140th anniversary this year, Chapin stands as a testament to the dedication of its employees and the quality of its premium products proudly manufactured in the USA,” Onello said.
Onello has more than 25 years of commercial experience, working at companies including Hilti Tools, Positec Tools, Irwin Industrial Tools, JPW Industries and ITW, where he most recently served as vice president and general manager at ITW’s Global Tire Repair division.
Onello – a Buffalo native – holds MBAs from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
“We are confident that Timothy Onello’s wealth of experience and leadership will drive Chapin forward in our mission to provide top-quality products to our customers worldwide,” said Andris Chapin, board chair.
Chapin designs and produces home and industrial sprayers, spreaders, irrigation and accessories.
