The Corn Hill Neighbors Association has issued a Request for Proposal for an artist to design the official commemorative poster for the 2024 Corn Hill Arts Festival.
Festival organizers want the poster to embody the spirit and essence of the Corn Hill neighborhood while engaging festivalgoers and the community.
“The ideal design will encapsulate the diversity, ambiance, and energy of Corn Hill, capturing the festival’s vibrancy in a visually appealing and exciting manner,” the organization said.
The festival runs July 13 and 14. A $1,000 honorarium will be paid to the artist.
“Each year, the festival’s poster becomes a symbol of our community’s vibrant artistic spirit,” Robin Plummer, 2024 Corn Hill Arts Festival chair, said in a news release. “We’re looking for an artist who can capture Corn Hill’s rich cultural heritage and the energy of our beloved festival.”
Requirements include:
» Originality: Artwork must be unique and respect copyright laws.
» Creativity: Ability to translate the festival’s theme into an eye-catching visual.
» Conceptualization: The design should convey the spirit and activities of Corn Hill.
» Technical Skills: Proficiency in graphic design and high-quality digital art creation.
» Timeliness: Adherence to the submission and final design delivery timelines.
» Collaboration: Willingness to work with our team to align with our vision.
