Leaders at Together in Caring said the acquisition expands its geographic footprint in a way that continues its commitment to quality of care. Financial details were not disclosed.
“For over 12 years Inspire Care has been a model of excellence in the private duty elder care management field thanks to the leadership of owner Rebecca Auyer and her team,” said Mark McDermott, CEO of Together in Caring. “We are so proud to inherit their success and have the chance to help build on it.”
Auyer, owner of For Inspire Care, said the deal allows her to transition her career while ensuring the agency’s care management clients and employees would be well-served.
“They share our commitment and values to be an employer and provider of choice in aging life care management,” she said.
The sale of Inspire Care to Together in Caring does not include Auyer’s physical therapy practice. Auyer and her therapist team will continue to offer home therapy services going forward under a different entity whose name will be announced soon.
Together in Caring LLC was established in 2022 as a partnership of Lifespan of Greater Rochester, Entrusted Care and McDermott, owner of Touching Hearts at Home.
Auyer started Inspire Care in 2011 to help older adults and their families navigate the challenges of longer life with private duty services including health care coordination, home care coordination, nursing home placement, assessments, crisis management and money management services.
Together in Caring said it plans to continue using the Inspire Care name as the company’s brand in Central New York.
