City, county and affiliated community members will provide the annual update on work by the Commission on Racial and Structural Equity (RASE) next week.
The Zoom webinar, facilitated by the Urban League of Rochester, will begin at 6 p.m. on April 24. To register, visit the Urban League website.
There will be presentations by officials from the city of Rochester, Monroe County and members of the eight Community Advancing Recommendations Team (CARTs).
The initial RASE report, released in the spring of 2021, was developed by more than 200 community volunteers who provided recommendations to increase equity across nine sectors where racial and structural barriers have produced disparities.
The update also will be livestreamed on the city’s YouTube channel. Only viewers that register through the Urban League will be able to participate in the question-and-answer session.
