The Rochester Lilac Festival’s 125th Anniversary celebration will take place May 12-21, marking the return of ten consecutive days of free, family entertainment.

Next year’s festival – which organizers expect will draw more than 500,000 visitors – will feature new and returning events.

Some of the activities include:

May 12 – Opening Ceremonies, 125th Anniversary Celebration;
May 12, 15, 16, 17 & 18 – Lunch Specials;
May 13, 14, 20 & 21 – Art in the Park;
May 13 – Wine Tasting Expo & Lilac Parade;
May 14 – Craft Beer Expo;
May 17 – Seniors’ Day;
May 20 & 21 – 2nd Annual Health & Wellness Experience presented by Evans Bank, and
May 21 – Lilac 10k, 5k and Donut Dash presented by the Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester.

“Sharing the festival’s 2023 dates before the holidays helps thousands of families start their planning early and provides the opportunity to give the gift of unforgettable experiences this holiday season,” said festival producer Jeff Springut. “This festival will be one for the record books, with national weekday headliners and special anniversary collectibles to be announced over the next several months to honor this historic year.”
