Harbor Freight Tools to open third Rochester location

Harbor Freight Tools will be opening another store in the Rochester metro area.

The newest Harbor Freight Tools will be located in Panorama Plaza at 1601 Penfield Road, with the doors expected to open to the public in the spring. Construction is underway on the facility.

Headquartered in Calabasas, Calif., Harbor Freight Tools sells a vast array of tools at discount prices and is expanding across the country, adding an average of two new stores every week. The franchise was founded in 1980 and currently has more than 1,100 locations.

Harbor Freight already operates retails stores in Irondequoit and Henrietta, as well as Canandaigua, Batavia and Brockport.
