Listen to this articleJeffrey A. Jennings has been named president of the New York State Funeral Directors Association (NYSFDA).
Jennings owns Jennings Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home in Penfield and Harloff Funeral Home in East Rochester.
“NYSFDA has always done amazing work empowering funeral home directors to provide families with the very best in terms of support and comfort,” Jennings said in a news release. “I couldn’t be more excited to lead such a worthy group.”
Jennings is a 1984 graduate of Rome Catholic High School and a 1986 graduate of SUNY Canton with a degree in mortuary science. He has been working in the Rochester area since 1988.
He is past president of the Rochester Genesee Valley Funeral Directors Association.
Founded in 1889, the NYSFDA mission is to promote the highest standards of funeral service to the public and enhance the environment in which its members operate. Membership includes 3,300 licensed funeral directors.
