 “A Visit to the State Fair” for St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center: Join us for the 23rd Annual Auction & Party to benefit St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center. All proceeds support health care programs for the uninsured and underinsured.  The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at Temple B’rith Kodesh in Brighton. Festivities include live music by Big Blue House, grazing stations with hearty hors d’oeuvres, a variety of Finger Lakes wines, ciders and microbrews, desserts, silent and live auction items. Dress is business casual, or show off your favorite State Fair attire. SATURDAY, JUNE 10

2017 Manning & Napier Tour de Cure:  Join the signature fundraising event for the American Diabetes Association, Tour de Cure. Tour de Cure is a one-day cycling and walk event out of Xerox in Webster to raise money to stop diabetes. Choose from six different routes: 3 mile walk/ride, and 15, 25, 40, 62, or 100 mile ride. The routes are highlighted by rolling country landscapes and scenic views of Lake Ontario. At the end of your ride or walk, enjoy our afternoon festival offering plenty of food, music, and fun to share with family and friends! Ride, walk, or donate! 10th Annual Greg Chandler & Guy F. Solimano Memorial Golf Tournament: Webster Golf Club, 440 Salt Road in Webster.
Funds raised from this event directly support research into pulmonary fibrosis.  PF is a fatal disease that causes scarring in the lungs, which leads to death due to the lungs’ inability to take in oxygen.  The money raised supports research at URMedicine being conducted by Dr. Patricia Sime and the Pulmonary Critical Care Team.  We also support the research and advocacy efforts of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.  Enjoy a great day of golf, sun and fun for just $90 per person.  Your registration fee includes: lunch, dinner, 18 holes of golf, cart, putting contest, driving range, golfer swag bag, contests and great prizes, raffles and silent auction items! Sojourner House at PathStone will host a Gala for Strength in celebration of 35 years serving homeless women and children. The event, beginning at 6 p.m., will include a full-service dinner, complimentary cocktails, Shine band and a silent auction at Casa Larga Vineyards. The gala will honor and reinforce efforts to allocate scarce resources on behalf of the most vulnerable members of our community. Gala for Strength is supported by Winn Companies, Waste Management, REMAX, Town & Country Pest Solutions and Delaney Marketing, among other local companies.
