Rochester Regional Health has acquired Rochester Immediate Care urgent care centers, RRH officials said Thursday. Terms were not disclosed.

As of Aug.1, the area urgent care facilities, located in Greece, Henrietta and Webster, will be rebranded as Rochester Regional Health Immediate Care centers and will be staffed by TeamHealth clinicians.

Based in Knoxville, Tenn., TeamHealth Holdings Inc. provides contract clinical staff, including hospitalists, ambulatory care specialists and emergency department doctors to hospitals and other medical facilities.

RRH plans to further expand its relationship with TeamHealth to open other urgent care facilities at unnamed area locations in the near future, officials said.

“We are deeply committed to making care convenient and accessible to patients across the region, and, as a result we are expanding our relationship with TeamHealth,” RRH CEO Eric Bieber M.D. said.
