Bonadio & Co. LLP has entered the Syracuse market with its merger with Syracuse accounting firm Loguidice & Kamide CPAs PLLC, the Rochester-based firm announced Tuesday.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Loguidice & Kamide, which employs 12, will assume the Bonadio name. Bonadio employs some 230 at offices in Rochester; Buffalo; Syracuse; Geneva, Ontario County; and Perry, Wyoming County.
“This merger represents another step toward our vision of becoming Upstate New York’s first mega-regional accounting firm,” Bonadio managing partner Thomas Bonadio said.
“Our goal was to find a firm in Syracuse with an outstanding reputation and a culture with similar values and client-service responsibility. Our merger with Loguidice & Kamide represents a solid foundation for continuing our growth and extending our presence in the Upstate New York region, creating opportunity for both our clients and employees.”
Michael Loguidice and Thomas Kamide Jr. are now Bonadio partners and head the Syracuse office. They will rotate as representatives on Bonadio’s executive committee, the firm said.
The Syracuse firm was founded in 1986 to serve small to midsize businesses in Central New York.
Founded in 1978, Bonadio provides tax planning and preparation, and financial, operational and benefit plan audit services.
