Pavia will practice in the environmental, public finance and economic development, business and commercial litigation and commercial real estate practices groups. He focuses his practice on all aspects of environmental law and also practices general corporate law with an emphasis on intellectual property, entity formation, employment matters and acquisitions.
Ecovation Inc. announces the appointment of Peter Draveck as controller and vice president of finance, and the hiring of Brian Wells as mechanical designer and Donald Song as project engineer. Draveck brings 17 years of accounting experience to the position and most recently served as vice president of finance and controller for Choice One Communications Inc. Wells most recently served as an engineer at Architecture, Engineering, and Land Surveying Northeast PLLC. Song brings more than 13 years of project engineering experience in civil and environmental engineering to the role.
Premium Mortgage Corp. announces the addition of Kristi Dellaria to its mortgage financing team. Dellaria brings more than 10 years of financing background to the role and will coordinate and oversee the firm’s client’s home mortgage financing and refinancing.
Richard Pitifer II has joined the Finger Lakes Council, Boy Scouts of America as a district executive. In his new position, Pitifer will work with volunteer leaders and chartered partners in the Arrowhead district in western Ontario County. Most recently Pitifer was with the Washington Group International.
Meghan Schuth has joined EFP Group as a staff accountant in the attest department in the firm’s Rochester office, while Eloise Wiest has been hired as a senior accountant in the firm’s Canan-daigua office. Rae Mills has joined the company as a senior assistant in the non-attest department in the Rochester office.
Jennifer Byrnes has joined Logical Images Inc. as the manager of content and clinical research. Her responsibilities will include overseeing content development, quality assurance and studying informatics applications in the field. Tara Mahar M.D. has joined the editorial team and will be responsible for writing and editing content for VisualDx as well as coordinating research enterprises as they relate to visual clinical decision support and medical education.
Ultra Electronics, Flightline Systems has promoted Bob Burnett to director of programs, while Doreen Nieves has been hired as human resources administrator. Joelle Brunetto has been hired as an accountant, while Robert Stroup has joined the firm as a program manager and Sandra Knight has been hired as an assembler.

Navalis Co. Inc. has hired Tim McGowan as a project manager in the construction services unit of the Rochester office. He will be responsible for estimating and overseeing building and HVAC projects. He brings 15 years of residential construction experience to the position.

Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP announces the appointment of Michelle Cain to partner. Cain joined the firm in 1994 and specializes her practice in non-profit organizations and the hospitality industry. She also serves on the firm’s assurance, technology, recruiting and marketing committees.
Jessica Moreno has been appointed interior design leader for the New York region’s architecture, interior design, facilities planning and operations group of Stantec Inc. Moreno joined the firm in 2004 and brings more than 10 years of experience in interior design, architecture, facilities management and visual merchandising to the role.
LaBella Associates P.C. announces the addition of Christopher Gangemi, Conrad Lind and Doug Hastings. Gangemi has joined the firm’s buildings and facilities division as architectural technician, while Lind has joined the mechanical electrical energy plumbing division. The Summit Federal Credit Union announces the following appointments: Aaron Guhl, IT professional; Erica Allman, senior member service specialist; Susan Disanferdinando, head teller; and Trisha Wilson, head teller. Guhl brings more than five years of network support experience to the position. Allman has been with the company for more than three years and will serve at each of the branch locations.
