New event venue to open in Canandaigua this spring

The Venue on Atwater is being designed to host weddings, corporate gatherings and community celebrations.
The facility is part of the renovation of the former YMCA at 32 N. Main St. Capstone Real Estate Development is repurposing other parts of the building into a restaurant, brew pub and office space.
“Our team is thrilled to open The Venue on Atwater in spring 2026 and begin partnering with couples, planners and businesses to bring their visions to life,” Jennifer Gallo, owner of the event facility, said in a news release. “We’ve designed this space with flexibility and aesthetic appeal in mind, and can’t wait to show it off to the community.”
Tours are available and bookings are underway.
